J&H performed site construction and structural excavation for the renovations of the New York Yankees AAA team the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders.
In addition to doing the structural excavation for the arena’s original construction, J&H Excavating was recently involved in the removal and replacement of the building’s ice floor. This work involved cutting and removing the existing concrete floor. After the floor was removed, new sub-base had to be installed for the new slab and mechanical piping. This newly installed sub-base was placed with a dozer using automatic grade control from a robotic total station. This allowed the material to be

Have completed many projects both inside of the secure area and outside at the Talen Nuclear Plant in Berwick, PA. Some recent projects have included an expansion of the spent fuel rod storage area and the FLEX Emergency Vehicle Storage Shelter.
Performed structural excavation for the 230,000 sf Mohegan Sun Casino in Plains, PA.
Performed site construction for a new Heart Hospital and Emergency Room at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. All work was done while maintaining all hospital operations.
Performed site construction for IBEW Local 1319 Office Bldg. and OSHE Training Facility in Pringle, PA.
